Examination and Promotion Rules(ODIA MEDIUM)

CLASS I TO VIII

1. It is compulsory for all students to appear in the Half Yearly & Annual Examination.

2. A student has to secure 30% marks in individual subjects and 33% of marks in aggregate for Promotion to next higher class.

3. Grading system is applicable for minor subjects as follows Grade “O” 90% & above, Grade “A” 80% to 89%, Grade “B” 60% to 79%, Grade “C” 50% to 59%, Grade “D” 33% to 49%, Grade “E” less than 33% (Fail).

4. 75% attendance is required for Class promotion.

For Class IX & X, guidelines of Board of Secondary Education Odisha is strictly followed for Examination & promotion.
